AQT Watertube Steam Boiler
The AQT Watertube is an O-Type construction with gas-tight, welded steel intercasing, water cooled rear wall, staggered bent tube convection section, ceramic wool front wall and optional integrated finned tube economizer.
Simoneau's AQT Watertube applications include high and low pressure steam.
Typical industries include manufacturing and processing facilities, pulp and paper, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, universities and ethanol plants.
Simoneau's AQT Watertube Steam Boiler design features:
- Capacity: 100 BHP to 2,000 BHP (70,000 PPH).
- Design pressures 15 psig to 650 psig.
- Optional radiant / convective superheaters.
- Radiant and convective type superheaters with temperatures up to 750 °F.
- Three pass flue gas contact with staggerred tube arrangement for maximum heat transfer.
- Balanced heat transfer prevents thermal shock.
- Superior steam quality (1 ppm) using proprietary separation technology with a large steam drum.
- Operates with natural gas, #2 oil and alternative gases.
- Meets or exceeds Nox Emission Standards while providing high turndown ratio.
- Natural boiler water circulation eliminating the need for a circulating pump.
- Integrated economizer provides efficiency to 85% firing natural gas.
