Since January 2005, Groupe Simoneau is the only distributor of X-ID tubes for Eastern Canada. X-ID tubes are known to be a high efficiency energy solution to improve boiler performance. Groupe Simoneau is approved by Gaz Metro to promote its Energy Efficiency Program (EEP). Boilers equipped with X-ID tubes are more efficient and use less source fuel than those built with standard tubes. Better fuel consumption significantly reduces NOx and other emissions. X-ID tubes can be used with boilers using #2 oil or natural gas.

Retubing a boiler with X-ID tubes increases energy efficiency by 2 to 5 % depending on the initial design of the boiler. Retubing boilers is subsidized by certain Canadian gas companies such as Gaz Metro. To know more on those programs you can phone us or your local gas company.
